PROPERTIES

COMPOSOR 8 is a mixture of extracts and essential oils of medicinal plants in vehicle of glycerinated water together with the tincture of an apicultural derivate.

A plant combination with bodily-defence mechanism stimulant action against nonspecific aggressive agents, thus contributing to prevent and eliminate infections.

Its properties are due to the action of various plants and an apicultural derivative:

Echinacea angustifolia (Echinacea) is a plant of phytotherapeutic importance, with a recognized efficiency as non-specific immunologic activator. Contains active principles causing this action (echinacine, essential oil, resin, bitter principles, etc.), as well as others that are active against bacteria (echinacosides). Nevertheless, this action is probably due to the entirety of its phytoconstituents.

Propolis has valuable bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties due to its content in benzoic acid, ferulic a., galangine and pinocembrine. It is antifungal. It seems to exert a positive effect on immunologic processes, on the one hand, directly by helping phagocytosis and formation of antibodies, and on the other, indirectly by increasing global resistance to infections in general.

Thymus vulgaris (Thyme) is an effective general antiseptic for its content in essential oil (thymol and carvacrol), flavonoids and phenolic acids.
